[Entrance Exam] Week One
It would seem that it will be... some time before you're released. Two weeks. That may sound like forever, in this situation. But you aren't left with nothing to do. The Administrator has been kind enough to update the Tasks application on your tablet. There are also now several different tasks that you can accept. Who knows... you might get something good out of it. It's worth checking out at least. There are also several other new applications you can toy with, too.
And you won't go hungry. The staff is here to prepare meals three times a day. Breakfast is served from 6AM-8AM, lunch from 11PM-1PM, and dinner from 5PM-7PM. You'd best make sure you're in the cafeteria in time for those meals, because they won't be waiting around all day for you. They have lives, too. Unfortunately, you won't really be able to ask them about any of that. The serving area is separated by a glass wall, through which they serve you. Even if you try asking-- it would seem they have been told not to answer.
The rest... well. You may just have to see for yourself. At least you're not alone.

[ That's where he figures Akira might have gotten the idea, anyway. ]

In general. Have you checked the rules? It might be an idea to have an escape route in case something goes wrong, or if they set something into motion that could cause us harm.
[ And if that means jumping out a window? He'll figure out a way to make it as safe and easy for them as he can. ]

It couldn't hurt to be prepared for the worst. It doesn't look like they'd try anything now, but, it might not be the case for everyone else.
[ As optimistic as he is, there is at least one of these people called Prospect of Murder. So that's, definitely a thing. ]

Better to be prepared, than caught off guard.
[ They always secured escape routes before leading a heist, so why change the habits of nearly-a-year? ]
If they did try to catch or harm us, a quick escape route could make a huge difference.

It's a good idea for sure. But now that I think about it, would we be able to get far?
I mean, I'm sure we'd be able to maybe make it a good run for awhile. But we really don't know where we are, unless someone's hiding something, and they do. And we don't have the same strength we did before we came here.
[ They took their powers, and their weapons. He doesn't sound like he's doubtful about the idea, mind you, but he just figured it might be something to consider. ]

[ They may not have much of a chance to fight back or permanently escape, but... they sure as heck can make everyone's lives difficult in the process, right? ]

[ They could, for sure, and he's admittedly not one who would be to go to for plotting these types of things out, but he can damn well try. ]
Finding an escape route is good, but it might not be enough since they'll likely catch up to us quickly. We should think about having something to use that's ready to go if we need to bolt. [ Maybe. Like traps? ] Which also depends on the kind of stuff we have here, but I think it might help.
no subject
[ Which. Y'know. Might actually work?? ]

[ ... ]
...And if we had to defend ourselves, it isn't like there aren't any weapons lying around. [ Still limited. But like the bandages, it's at least better than nothing. ] But, I'll try to also see if maybe there's something else around we can use to help with slipping them up.

[ The thought brings about a funny image, though.
And knowing his luck, he just might anyway... ]

At least we'd have a good laugh as we potentially ran for our lives.
no subject
Oh yeah, definitely. Plus, think of how much of our mess they'd have to clean up.
no subject
Unless... they make us clean it up instead.

[ That'll probably be how it goes. ]
... Which could be useful for more than just cleaning.
