[Entrance Exam] Week One
It would seem that it will be... some time before you're released. Two weeks. That may sound like forever, in this situation. But you aren't left with nothing to do. The Administrator has been kind enough to update the Tasks application on your tablet. There are also now several different tasks that you can accept. Who knows... you might get something good out of it. It's worth checking out at least. There are also several other new applications you can toy with, too.
And you won't go hungry. The staff is here to prepare meals three times a day. Breakfast is served from 6AM-8AM, lunch from 11PM-1PM, and dinner from 5PM-7PM. You'd best make sure you're in the cafeteria in time for those meals, because they won't be waiting around all day for you. They have lives, too. Unfortunately, you won't really be able to ask them about any of that. The serving area is separated by a glass wall, through which they serve you. Even if you try asking-- it would seem they have been told not to answer.
The rest... well. You may just have to see for yourself. At least you're not alone.

What kind of mouse-brained question is that? I would never be anything but a cat.
no subject
You sure you wouldn't want an upgrade? What if you could be a bigger cat? Ooh... Or a winged cat!
[That's not even an animal in your world, Henry, you can't just... okay.]
no subject
[ ...It would look kind of ridiculous and be amusing, though. But she can't just say that, be friendly with a Twoleg. ]
no subject
I know I'd kill to be able to fly.
no subject
[ A bit touchy there... But with a sweep of her tail, she concedes: ] I suppose it'd be interesting. I assume you'd be something with wings too, if you could be an animal? Hopefully you wouldn't choose to be prey.
no subject
Oh yeah, I'd definitely wanna fly. I've been trying to figure out a spell that'll give me wings or lets me change into a raven... So that's what I'd pick!

Hm, okie-dokie, let's see here... Ooh, let's try this. What's your fondest childhood memory?
no subject
She blinks quickly and it's back to business. ] The Daylight Gathering. When I was an apprentice. It was...all four Clans gathered during the day instead of at night, at sun-high. We apprentices competed against each other, for pride and the right to have the first pick from different prey piles. I fought a WindClan apprentice, and though she had been training for longer, I beat her.
It was the first time...I felt like I brought my Clan honor.
[ Yes... Yes, that memory works well. ]

[Henry listens attentively. It's one of those rare few times where he actually goes a little quiet, just so he can absorb all she's saying.]
That sounds really important! Yeah, I can see why that'd be a good one, I definitely get that. I bet they were real proud of you, huh?
no subject
[ It's a soft statement, but a nice one. ]
How about you? The same question.
no subject
[They also weren't actually that fun at the time, but who cares about dumb details like that?]
...So I'd have to go with before all that. Oh, maybe the first time I met my best friend! Well, actually, I guess she was almost more like my mom? She was the first friend I ever made, anyhow.
It was a little scary for a little bit, but she was real nice and taught me all sortsa stuff. And she just had the softest fur!
no subject
Like your mom...with fur? Were you raised by an animal?

But I did all the time. And I guess she saw me as a sort of cub and took a liking to me. She was real sweet... I miss her a bunch.
no subject
She remembers a soft cry, an almost desperate love. ]
I'm sure, wherever she is, that feeling reaches her. It's possible...she needed you just as much.
