[Entrance Exam] Week One
It would seem that it will be... some time before you're released. Two weeks. That may sound like forever, in this situation. But you aren't left with nothing to do. The Administrator has been kind enough to update the Tasks application on your tablet. There are also now several different tasks that you can accept. Who knows... you might get something good out of it. It's worth checking out at least. There are also several other new applications you can toy with, too.
And you won't go hungry. The staff is here to prepare meals three times a day. Breakfast is served from 6AM-8AM, lunch from 11PM-1PM, and dinner from 5PM-7PM. You'd best make sure you're in the cafeteria in time for those meals, because they won't be waiting around all day for you. They have lives, too. Unfortunately, you won't really be able to ask them about any of that. The serving area is separated by a glass wall, through which they serve you. Even if you try asking-- it would seem they have been told not to answer.
The rest... well. You may just have to see for yourself. At least you're not alone.

Wait, you're trapped in a campus too? What happened, how did you get there? How long have you been there?
[ 9000 QUESTIONS. ]

[ What is going on here? ]
What do you mean you're at Fayflower? That's where we're being held.

... to Akira: ]
Could it be one of the floors we can't get to?
[ Well, the elevator lists way more than just the floors they can get to. ]
no subject
If we can figure out where maybe we can meet up with them.

Guess it's time to put those thieving skills to use, Joker.
[ Lookit him admitting he thinks Akira's smart. ]

I'd need more to go off than just "there are other people here, somewhere". But if we get a solid lead, we should be able to find something.
no subject
Which is what we're looking for, right? Anyway, I'll get back to my own search.
[ He's giving some of that optimist crap a try...? Blame Flat. ]

Good intel is the backbone of any plan. We just don't have anything yet, but... if we have to, I can wing something. Probably.
no subject
You're welcome to take that cockiness down a level anytime.

[ Huff. ]

Right... Twiddling thumbs. I'm guessing that's what you'd consider my specialty to be.
[ Given the whole... him not fighting his fate with the hunters, or whatever. Anyway, he's going to mutter a change of topic now. ]
I have to admit, this is giving me a terrible image of what school would have been like.
[ Guess who's never been. ]
no subject
... Mm, well. My high school wasn't like this. Contrary to popular belief, there isn't any kidnapping, even if you are sometimes there against your will.
[ ... ]
Were you home-schooled?
no subject
Or maybe the rest of the world doesn't fight it enough. [ a shrug ] I can't say.
[ More like he doesn't want to say what he wants to believe... but details. ]
No.
[ He doesn't even know what the hell that is - whatever it is, it seems, to him, to imply he had a home to be... schooled in...? All of you with your weird words need to stop. ]
There wasn't a reason to put me through school. [ a shrug ] That's something for parents to worry about, so those people didn't bother with me.

[ Hm. ]
School is just mandatory, where I'm from. You go, you keep your head down, get good grades and then... I don't know. You get thrown out into more education, and then into the working world. A bit like a conveyor belt?
no subject
It's technically mandatory where I'm from, too.
