[Entrance Exam] Week One

It would seem that it will be... some time before you're released. Two weeks. That may sound like forever, in this situation. But you aren't left with nothing to do. The Administrator has been kind enough to update the Tasks application on your tablet. There are also now several different tasks that you can accept. Who knows... you might get something good out of it. It's worth checking out at least. There are also several other new applications you can toy with, too.

And you won't go hungry. The staff is here to prepare meals three times a day. Breakfast is served from 6AM-8AM, lunch from 11PM-1PM, and dinner from 5PM-7PM. You'd best make sure you're in the cafeteria in time for those meals, because they won't be waiting around all day for you. They have lives, too. Unfortunately, you won't really be able to ask them about any of that. The serving area is separated by a glass wall, through which they serve you. Even if you try asking-- it would seem they have been told not to answer.

The rest... well. You may just have to see for yourself. At least you're not alone.

I think messing with those buttons might've been a bit of a double edged sword.

We pressed the button, and now we can't hear them. It seems likely.

[ HE TAP THE BLUE BUTTON. ]

[ Akira taps the blue button, and the screen says: ]

THE GENERATOR IS STILL POWERING ON.

[ well that's weird. flat's pretty sure that buttons should turn things on and off. ]

Maybe...the green one?

Maybe it's a process we can't reverse now? Until it's powered on.

[ Indeed. The green button makes the control panel turns back into the wall.

A song starts playing that seems to be coming from where the control panel once was, and out comes a can of cherry cola. It kind of just rolls out of the opening in the wall onto the floor--unless you have good reflexes and catch it before it can hit the ground, of course. The cola is warm. The control panel comes back right after the soda’s been dispensed, but the song keeps playing. ]

[ Well, hey, he'll pick up the cherry cola. His reflexes were good but he didn't expect it and he's not always so fast, anyway. ]

That was weird...

[ And just to wrap this up, he'll press the red button next. ]

[ The red button makes the lights in the pool change colors as it drains. It's kind of like...a mini disco party? The lights stop once the pool’s completely drained. ]
