Exam 3
[ Once again, the exam begins with the desks arranged in a perfect circle; one desk for each person that's participating in the program. There are nameplates for everyone, and they have been bolted to each of the desks, facing the inside of the circle...
...including the deceased. Their chairs have been placed on top of their desks, signifying that they will not be needed. Above of their desks are holograms of their portraits from their profiles, grayed out and bloodstained.
Today Han is absent-- only Megumi is present at the front of the classroom. ]
Today you are responsible for finding the culprit responsible for the death of Maya Fey, the Apprentice Falsely Accused.
Your exam begins now.
[ The physical evidence tray sits in the middle of the circle of desks; you all have the Evidence app on your tablets to access photo evidence. ]
Examination START.

I'm not saying that's the only option here. We just have consider it. But there's another side to it - if you flip that theory around. If you know someone was blind, maybe there's a logic to making your kill as messy as possible to draw attention to the blind person.
After all, if you've still got perfect vision, no one would suspect that you'd have trouble with... well... [ Stabbing Maya to death. ]

[ he’s gonna give himself a headache with how hard he’s thinking. as long as alex isn’t a suspect— ]
The stabs were done for show. There’s no other logical explanation.

[ NOT THAT HE'S MAD BUT.
he's mad. ]
... The knife still has blood on it. Which, yes, if you could see you'd clean it off and not leave blood smeared on the block either. [ ... ] So that leans more towards this being someone planting evidence.

They left her in an easily found grave, maybe knocked her out before killing her, and left blood almost everywhere... it's inconsistent.

The fact is, Maya was knocked out with a guitar. She was chased by the killer, before he knocked her out. So the killer can't have been blind if they were chasing her.

All I'm saying is, we're following the easy way, far too quickly.

Maya's no stranger to death. She worked with a defense attorney. I think she would've been alright if some blind kid came at her with a guitar.

If you rush a vote because you don't want it to be Alexander-san, and someone innocent ended up killed what would you do?
